Honouring Veterans by

Paving Progress and Bridging Economies

Welcome to the Veterans Memorial Highway Association (VMHA)

The Veterans Memorial Highway Association proudly advocates for the growth, safety, and future of Alberta's Eastern Corridor — along Highways 36, 881, and the southern tip of Highway 4. Stretching from Fort McMurray to the U.S. border at Coutts, this essential trade and tourism corridor connects communities, businesses, and industries across Alberta.

Our mission is rooted in three pillars: Advocacy, Tourism, and Economic Development. This site focuses on our Advocacy work — ensuring safer highways, stronger regional voices, and continuous improvements for everyone who lives, works, and travels the Veterans Memorial Highway route.

Together, we honour the legacy of our veterans while paving a strong foundation for Eastern Alberta’s future.
